This scholarship provides travel assistance (up to $400) and full registration for a finalist from each state to attend the Royal Australasian College of Physician's annual conference  to present their work and compete for the national prize. The 2011 conference will be in Darwin.

Feedback from 2009 finalists who presented their work at the World Congress of Internal Medicine, Melbourne, March 2010:

1. The John Snow Scholarship was a fantastic experience for me ... I presented at a large, international conference – it was a nerve-racking prospect to speak to a group of professionals, especially as a student. Thus, having the opportunity to face this challenge and discovering that it was not as terrifying as I envisaged was invaluable.
